About

The Rolling Stones are a British rock band formed in London in 1962, widely regarded as one of the most influential acts in the history of popular music. Built around the songwriting partnership of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, their sound draws on blues, rhythm and blues, and rock and roll - a combination that shaped the course of hard rock. With 24 studio albums behind them and a 25th, Foreign Tongues, due in July 2026, they remain an active creative force more than six decades on.
