About

The Ruins of Beverast is a German blackened doom metal project from Aachen, founded in 2003 by Alexander von Meilenwald - formerly the drummer of black metal band Nagelfar. Von Meilenwald writes, records and performs all instruments and vocals on studio material himself, while live shows since 2013 have featured an expanded line-up. Seven albums released through Ván Records have built the project a devoted following in the extreme metal underground, with the press noting its cinematic scope and uncompromising density.
