The Sheepdogs are a Canadian rock band from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, formed in 2006, whose sound draws on the classic rock, blues rock, and country rock of the 1970s. They made history in 2011 as the first unsigned act to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone, winning the spot through a public vote. Since then they have released six albums that all cracked the Billboard Canadian Albums Top 20, earned four JUNO Awards, and built a reputation as one of the hardest-touring live bands in rock.
