The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain (UOGB) is a British ensemble founded in London in 1985 by George Hinchliffe and Kitty Lux, performing exclusively on ukuleles ranging from sopranino to bass. Their shows blend deadpan humour with virtuosic arrangements that span punk, classical, pop and film scores - all without a single electronic effect. Credited with sparking the global ukulele revival, they have sold out Carnegie Hall, the Royal Albert Hall and the Sydney Opera House, and in 2025 marked their 40th anniversary on tour.
