Sound of Nashville presents: THE WASHBOARD UNION - Live 2026
THE WASHBOARD UNION will perform their live show as part of the Sound of Nashville series in Munich.
The Washboard Union is a Canadian country trio from Vancouver, British Columbia, made up of stepbrothers Aaron Grain and Chris Duncombe alongside their friend David Roberts. Their sound layers tight three-part vocal harmonies over a mix of country, folk and bluegrass, earning them a Juno Award, nine CCMA wins and a string of Top 10 Canadian country radio hits. They are the only country group ever to win the Juno Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year.
The Washboard Union released a new single, 'This Old House', in March 2026, with a new album expected in summer 2026.
The band released the single 'Somebody to Love' in November 2025 via ABC Music, their Australian label partner.
The Washboard Union completed their first-ever Australian tour in October 2025, playing festivals including SXSW Sydney and Savannah in the Round.
The band signed a new North American record deal with Arts and Crafts Country.
Two of the band's songs from their album Westerly were licensed for the CBS drama 'Tracker', and the band appeared in the show as themselves.
