Thomas Bergersen (born 4 July 1980, Trondheim, Norway) is a Norwegian composer, multi-instrumentalist and co-founder of the production music company Two Steps from Hell, which he ran with Nick Phoenix from 2006 until their split in April 2024. His orchestral and hybrid compositions have appeared in trailers for over a thousand major films - among them Harry Potter, Interstellar and Avatar - and his music has crossed 7 billion streams worldwide. As a solo artist he has released the albums Illusions, Sun and the ongoing seven-chapter series Humanity, as well as the hybrid symphony Seven.
Bergersen announced his first-ever solo live tour, Thomas Bergersen Live - Europe Tour 2027, opening in Prague on 4 April 2027 and covering Germany, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands and Belgium.
