THYLACINE
Concert by THYLACINE. The event takes place on 17 March 2027 at 20:00 at Technikum.
Thylacine is the project of William Rezé (born 1992, Angers), a French composer and multi-instrumentalist who trained in classical music and jazz saxophone before turning to electronic production. His albums are built around immersive travel expeditions - recording on the Trans-Siberian Railway, across the Andes in a converted 1972 Airstream caravan, and most recently through Namibia - blending field recordings, saxophone and synthesizers into a sound that sits between ambient, melodic techno and world music. He has sold out Paris venues including L'Olympia and the Philharmonie, and regularly performs with symphony orchestras.
Thylacine released Roads Vol. 3 on 31 October 2025, recorded over three and a half months in Namibia using his 1972 Airstream mobile studio.
Thylacine began a European tour in November 2025 with dates in Istanbul, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Berlin and Munich.
A major French arena tour is scheduled for early 2026, with shows at Zénith Paris, Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon, Arkéa Arena in Bordeaux and other large venues.
Thylacine performed a symphonic concert at the Théâtre Antique de Vienne in June 2024, accompanied by the Conservatoire de Lyon orchestra.
Thylacine composed the soundtrack for the Netflix/RTS series Winter Palace, directed by Pierre Monnard and Lindsay Shapero.
