About

Tiga (born Tiga James Sontag, Montreal, 1974) is a Canadian DJ, producer, and founder of Turbo Recordings, a label that helped launch careers of artists including Chromeo, Gesaffelstein, and Charlotte de Witte. He broke through internationally with his 2001 electronic cover of Corey Hart's 'Sunglasses at Night' and won the 2007 Juno Award for Dance Recording of the Year for his debut album Sexor. Straddling electroclash, techno, and synth-pop, he has remained a fixture of the global club circuit for over two decades.
