Toto is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1977 by a group of elite session musicians, including guitarist Steve Lukather and keyboardist David Paich. Their fourth album, Toto IV (1982), became a landmark of the era - "Africa" topped the Billboard Hot 100 and "Rosanna" reached number two, earning the band six Grammy Awards. With 14 studio albums and over 50 million records sold worldwide, Toto remain one of the most commercially successful rock acts of their generation, and their streaming numbers continue to grow as younger audiences discover them.
