Toto is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1977 by a group of elite session musicians, including guitarist Steve Lukather and keyboardist David Paich. Their fourth album, Toto IV (1982), became a landmark of the era - "Africa" topped the Billboard Hot 100 and "Rosanna" reached number two, earning the band six Grammy Awards.
