About

TRAITRS is a post-punk and coldwave duo from Toronto, Canada, formed in 2015 by Sean-Patrick Nolan and Shawn Tucker. Their sound layers angular guitars, motorik drum loops and atmospheric synths into a distinctly cinematic take on dark wave, drawing on the legacy of The Cure, Interpol and cold wave acts from the 1980s. The band broke through internationally with the track "Thin Flesh" - later featured in the 2024 film The Crow - and have since toured extensively across North America and Europe. Their fourth studio album, Possessor, was released in March 2026 on Icy Cold Records.
