Trebunie-Tutki is a multi-generational family folk ensemble from Biały Dunajec near Zakopane, rooted in the górale (highlander) tradition of the Podhale region. Led by Krzysztof Trebunia-Tutka (violin, bagpipe, vocals) and Anna Trebunia-Wyrostek (basy, vocals), the group coined the term 'New Highlander Music' - original compositions built on traditional Tatra instruments and scales, open to collaboration with reggae, jazz-rock and Georgian polyphony. They were the first Polish band to repeatedly chart on the World Music Charts Europe of the European Broadcasting Union, and have performed at world music festivals across Europe, Asia and North America.
Trebunie-Tutki performed a special concert titled 'Górom' at the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of Polish Radio in Warsaw, presenting new original pieces dedicated to the Tatra mountains.
The band performed a highland carols and pastorals concert in Szczawno-Zdrój on 6 January 2025.
Trebunie-Tutki played a jubilee concert at The Legendary Żywiec Pub in Żywiec in April 2024.
