About

Turbo is a Polish heavy metal band founded in Poznań in January 1980, widely regarded alongside TSA and KAT as one of the three pillars of Polish metal. Led since the beginning by guitarist Wojciech Hoffmann, the band built its reputation on landmark albums such as "Dorosłe dzieci" (1983) and "Kawaleria szatana" (1986), the latter considered the defining heavy metal record of 1980s Poland. Over four-plus decades the band has released thirteen studio albums and played thousands of concerts at home and abroad.
