TURBOBIER is a Viennese punk-rock band built around singer-guitarist Markus "Marco Pogo" Perscheidt, active since 2013. The band blends no-frills punk with Viennese cabaret wit - lyrics about beer, unemployment and everyday absurdity delivered at full throttle. Their album "Das Neue Festament" (2017) debuted at number one on the Austrian charts, and the band has won the Amadeus Austrian Music Award three times, most recently in 2025.
TURBOBIER released their fifth studio album "Das Leben is ein Oaschloch" on 1 May 2026, timed to coincide with International Workers' Day.
