Tyketto is an American hard rock band founded in Brooklyn in 1987 by vocalist Danny Vaughn, who remains the driving force behind the group. Signed to Geffen Records, they broke through with their debut Don't Come Easy (1991) - a record built on powerful vocal harmonies and emotionally charged ballads that put them in the same conversation as Whitesnake and Bon Jovi. The grunge wave cut short their commercial momentum, but the band has kept touring and recording ever since, releasing their sixth studio album Closer to the Sun in March 2026 via Silver Lining Music.
