About

U2 are an Irish rock band formed in Dublin in 1976, comprising Bono (vocals), The Edge (guitar), Adam Clayton (bass) and Larry Mullen Jr. (drums). One of the best-selling acts in music history, they have shifted an estimated 170 million+ records worldwide and hold the record for the most Grammy Awards won by any group - 22 in total. Albums like The Joshua Tree (1987) and Achtung Baby (1991) defined the sound of a generation, while their stadium tours repeatedly broke attendance and revenue records.
