Václav Vorlíček

Václav Vorlíček (1930-2019) was a Czech film director closely associated with the fairy-tale genre. He directed, among other films, Tři oříšky pro Popelku (1973) - a Czech-German co-production that became one of the most beloved fairy-tale films in Central European cinema. He collaborated for many years with screenwriter Miloš Macourek.
