Vera Polozkova (born 5 March 1986, Moscow) is a Russian poet, actress and singer who rose to prominence through her LiveJournal blog 'vero4ka' in the early 2000s and went on to publish six poetry collections. Her author recitals - blending spoken word, music and theatre - have drawn full houses across Russia and Europe; since leaving Russia in March 2022 she has been based in Cyprus. In February 2025 Russia's financial monitoring agency Rosfinmonitoring listed her as a 'terrorist and extremist'.
Russia's Rosfinmonitoring added Polozkova to its list of 'terrorists and extremists', with her accounts in Russia blocked as a result.
Polozkova completed a European book-launch tour for 'Lost and Found', with stops in Limassol, London, Amsterdam, Prague, Paris and Milan alongside composer Alexander Manotskov.
Polozkova published her sixth poetry collection 'Lost and Found', containing 77 poems written between 2021 and 2024 and dedicated to her late mother.
Polozkova left Russia following the invasion of Ukraine and relocated to Cyprus, where she has been based since.
