About

Veysel (born Veysel Gelin, 1984 in Essen) is a German rapper and actor of Zaza-Kurdish descent who built his career on Haftbefehl's Azzlackz label before founding his own imprint Bela Boyz in 2017. His album 'Hitman' broke into the German top ten that same year, and he went on to collect five gold and two platinum records. Alongside his music, he became widely known as Abbas Hamady in the award-winning TNT series '4 Blocks', and has since appeared in Netflix's 'Crooks' and the ARD thriller 'Testo'.
