voXXclub is a five-piece Neue Volksmusik band from Munich, founded in 2012 by students who blended Bavarian folk tradition with a cappella vocals, pop and rock. Their 2013 cover of "Rock mi" - launched via a viral flash-mob video - broke into the German and Austrian charts and established them as one of the leading acts in the genre. The members come from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and the band has since released a string of albums and festival appearances, including the Oktoberfest hit "Anneliese" in 2019.
