About

Vundabar is an American indie rock trio from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 2012 by vocalist/guitarist Brandon Hagen and drummer Drew McDonald while still in high school, later joined by bassist Zack Abramo. Their sound draws on post-punk, surf rock and jangle pop, built on a DIY ethos that includes running their own cassette label, Gawk Records. The 2015 track "Alien Blues" went viral on TikTok in 2021, racking up hundreds of millions of streams and bringing the band wide international attention.
