White Lion

About

White Lion is an American hard rock band formed in New York City in 1983 by Danish vocalist Mike Tramp and guitarist Vito Bratta. The band broke through with the double-platinum album Pride (1987) and its two major hits - the Top 10 rocker "Wait" and the power ballad "When the Children Cry", which reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. After disbanding in 1992, Tramp has kept the music alive under the Mike Tramp's White Lion banner, completing a trilogy of re-recorded classics between 2023 and 2025.
