About
Whitechapel is an American deathcore band from Knoxville, Tennessee, active since 2006. Named after the East London district made infamous by Jack the Ripper, the six-piece - fronted by vocalist Phil Bozeman - built their reputation on crushing, down-tuned riffs and visceral live performances. Over nine studio albums on Metal Blade Records, they have charted on the Billboard 200 multiple times and grown into one of the most influential acts in modern heavy metal.
