Zenon Martyniuk (born 23 June 1969 in Gredele, Podlaskie) is a Polish singer, guitarist and songwriter who co-founded the disco polo band Akcent in 1989 and has led it ever since. Widely nicknamed 'Król Disco Polo' (King of Disco Polo), he built his reputation on a string of enduring hits and over 15 studio albums with Akcent. Beyond music, a 2020 biographical film about his life - 'Zenek' - brought him to a broader national audience, and since 2024 he has served as a juror on the Polsat talent show Disco Star.
Akcent released the single 'Mandacik' in 2025, which quickly appeared on YouTube Music charts with tens of millions of plays.
Martyniuk featured on the Łobuzy single released 1 July 2025, which earned platinum status and nearly 35 million YouTube views by January 2026.
Martyniuk performed at Polsat's 'Sylwestrowa Moc Przebojów' New Year's Eve concert on the Old Town Square in Toruń.
Martyniuk continued as a juror on the 9th season of Disco Star, airing on Polsat alongside Marcin Miller and Magdalena Narożna.
On his birthday (23 June), Martyniuk launched a new official band website at zespolakcent.pl, consolidating concert dates, news and discography in one place.
