Alexandre Kantorow is a French pianist and son of conductor Jean-Jacques Kantorow. In 2019 he became the first French pianist to win the gold medal at the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. He is known for a broad repertoire spanning the Classical and Romantic periods, with a particular focus on Liszt and Tchaikovsky.
