Black Sabbath is a British heavy metal band from Birmingham, formed in 1968 by Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward. Widely regarded as pioneers of heavy metal, they are known for iconic albums such as Paranoid (1970). The band concluded their career with the farewell tour The End in 2017.
