Colin Stetson is an American multi-instrumentalist and composer, best known for his virtuosic bass saxophone playing. Using circular breathing and extended techniques, he creates dense, multi-layered sonic textures entirely in real time without loops. He has collaborated with artists such as Bon Iver and Arcade Fire, and is known for his solo series New History Warfare.
