Daniel Harding is a British conductor known for his work with major orchestras worldwide. He studied under Simon Rattle and Claudio Abbado and rose quickly to international prominence. He served as principal conductor of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, and is particularly associated with the symphonic repertoire of Mahler and Bruckner.
