Eagles of Death Metal is an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, founded in 1998 by Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme. Despite the name, the band plays blues rock and garage rock rather than death metal. They are widely known for having been on stage during the terrorist attack at the Bataclan concert hall in Paris in November 2015.
