About
Ibrahim Maalouf is a Lebanese-French trumpeter and composer who blends jazz and classical influences with Arab musical tradition. Born in Beirut and raised in Paris, where he studied at the conservatoire, he is known for a specially modified four-valve trumpet that allows him to play the quarter-tones characteristic of Oriental music.
