Kurt Vile is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Philadelphia. Known for his lo-fi indie rock and folk-influenced sound, he releases music both as a solo artist and with his backing band The Violators. His acclaimed album "Wakin on a Pretty Daze" (2013) helped establish him as a key figure in the indie rock scene.
