Megadeth is an American thrash metal band founded in Los Angeles in 1983 by guitarist Dave Mustaine. The band is considered one of the „Big Four" of thrash metal alongside Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax. Albums such as Peace Sells… but Who's Buying? and Countdown to Extinction are regarded as classics of the genre.
