One Direction is a British-Irish pop group formed in 2010 on the television talent show The X Factor. Comprising Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik, the group became one of the best-selling music acts in the world. They announced an indefinite hiatus in 2016, with all members pursuing solo careers since.
