Nick Steed & Friends

Nick Steed started playing keyboards at age 7, shaped by his father and his record collection. By 15 he was active in various band projects, working intensively in the studio and quickly racking up over 300 gigs a year. Since 2013 he has been touring with his own blues band, which brought him into contact with blues legends Larry Garner and Chris Farlowe - both of whom he also joined on tour.

The members of prog-jazz-rock band Colosseum took notice and brought him on board as their keyboardist - a collaboration that continues to this day and is currently culminating in a new album. Nick is also active in several other projects: the jazz-fusion outfit Optimystic Visionaries, a power-blues trio, and as a solo artist. His 2023 solo album "Influential Guidance" was widely praised in the music press; he performs most of its songs with his trio.

On this tour Nick is joined by fellow Brit Steve Gibson on drums. On guitar is Sebastian Lorenz - born in Austria and based in Los Angeles - whose credits include John Lee Hooker Jr., Creed Bratton, Jamie Jones, and Elliot Easton.
