THE GREAT GATSBY PARTY - with the Kareol Dance Orchestra
Capitol Mannheim, Germany
The Capitol Mannheim - itself a building from the 1920s - transforms into a ballroom: banquet seating with a dance floor, an absinthe bar at the counter, and a few gambling tables tucked into the corners. The team welcomes guests in 1920s attire.
Klaus Huck and his KAREOL TANZORCHESTER play the soundtrack of that era - and do it so convincingly that the ensemble has been the go-to live act for major 1920s parties in Berlin for years. In authentic costumes, the musicians perform numbers like "Mein kleiner gruner Kaktus" and the "Charleston", rounded out by vocals, tap-dance interludes, witty commentary, and a self-deprecating stage show.
Prefer a bird's-eye view? Gallery tickets offer a relaxed look down at the stage and dance floor.
In the ground-floor box, two exclusive tables for 2 are available - sold as complete packages only (two tickets with dance-floor access, a bottle of champagne, and a little surprise included). Period-appropriate 1920s dress is encouraged.
