Extrawurst - by Dietmar Jacobs and Moritz Netenjakob

It was supposed to be a formality: a tennis club's general meeting votes on buying a new grill. The trouble starts when someone suggests also funding a separate grill for the club's only Turkish member - devout Muslims cannot prepare their food on a grate that has touched pork. A well-intentioned idea that sparks heated debate and puts the otherwise peaceful club under serious strain.

"Extrawurst" is a comedy by Dietmar Jacobs and Moritz Netenjakob, the writers behind TV formats including "Die Wochenshow", "Ladykracher", "Das Amt" and "Stromberg". After playing on many theatre stages, this satirical piece is also coming to the cinema screen in 2026.
