Hamburg-based jazz bassist Lisa Wulff presents a new programme titled "Hand auf's Herz" - her first with a German title. In a revised quartet lineup, now featuring guitar as an additional tonal colour, she unfolds a distinctive sound: expressive and free, yet rooted in melody.

Joining her are Philipp Schiepek (guitar), Valentin Renner (drums) and Adrian Hanack (saxophone, flute, clarinet) - three musicians who are equally sought-after as bandleaders and soloists, and who develop Wulff's sonic language with their own individuality.

The pieces move between lyrical melancholy and eruptive freedom, exploring themes of hope, boundaries and the courage to overcome them. Groove and intuition meet emotional depth, virtuosity meets simplicity.
