Ralf Illenberger - "Elements" | Bistro Evening

Ralf Illenberger presents his latest album "Elements" - a recording that spans the full range of his musical output: delicate acoustic guitars, orchestral arrangements and funky rhythms. The Stuttgart-born guitarist takes listeners through his newest compositions - mysterious, at times almost rocky, always melodic. The album was mastered by Hans-Joerg Mauksch at Stockfisch Studios.

With Walter Keiser (Vollenweider, Nena) on drums and Sandro Gulino (Gypsy Kings) on bass, Illenberger also revisits his successful 1990s years with his former band Circle.

He first gained wider recognition as part of the duo Kolbe Illenberger in the 1970s. Since then he has performed in 50 countries, with a nomination for the Deutschen Schallplattenpreis (1978) and a Grammy nomination (1997) among the highlights of his international career.
