Cinderella - Interactive Participation Theater from Age 3
Galli Theater Berlin, Germany
When the stepmother moves in with her two daughters, life becomes hard for Cinderella. She is mocked, humiliated, and forced into endless chores.
But there is hope - the prince is looking for a wife and throws a grand celebration. Cinderella manages to attend in disguise and, unrecognized, wins the prince's heart. Yet before the two can find each other, plenty of obstacles stand in their way.
Participation theater is a special form of storytelling in which an experienced actress narrates a fairy tale while slipping into all the different characters and roles. The audience doesn't just watch - they can actively join in, calling out their ideas and thoughts to the actress on stage, who weaves these impulses spontaneously into the story.
