Anna Prohaska
Stadthaus Ulm, Germany
On 14 October 2026, Anna Prohaska performs a song recital at Stadthaus Ulm - the second concert of the klassisch! season. For the city, this is a special homecoming: Prohaska was born in 1983 in Neu-Ulm, the daughter of the opera director at Ulm Theatre at the time. It is her first performance in the city of her childhood.
The soprano is an ensemble member of the Berlin State Opera and was awarded the Opus Klassik prize in 2024 as "Singer of the Year". She presents her programme "Behind The Lines", created in 2014 to commemorate the outbreak of the First World War 100 years earlier, spanning an emotional arc between war and peace - released on CD by Deutsche Grammophon. She is accompanied on piano by Eric Schneider.
Students pay 9 euros.
