Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz opens its season on Saturday, 26 September 2026 at 19:00 at Franziskaner Konzerthaus in Villingen-Schwenningen. The orchestra presents a programme featuring works by Strauss, Bartók, and Prokofiev, with pianist Anna Vinnitskaya, winner of the Queen Elisabeth Competition, and conductor Michael Francis. Strauss's Till Eulenspiegel launches the concert with its distinctive motifs woven throughout the composition. Bartók's Third Piano Concerto and Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet complete the programme.
