"Overture" - a concert for young people
based on the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen

Musicians from the Jena Philharmonic perform Ákos Hoffmann's composition inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale - a colourful score that tells of coral reefs, dark ocean depths, and the little mermaid's longing for a world beyond the water.

Beate Bachmann serves as narrator, guiding the audience through the story and weaving text and music together. Yudania Gómez Heredia conducts.
