Latin Quarter Quartet - Tour 2026

Latin Quarter was founded in 1983 and achieved wider recognition with their debut album "Modern Times" (1986). Singles like "Radio Africa" and "The New Millionaires" sold over 300,000 copies; the New York Daily News called it "One of the most exquisite electro-pop albums ever to come out of England".

Following their 40th anniversary tour in spring 2023, Latin Quarter returns in 2026 as an acoustic quartet to Zentrum Altenberg. Joining the core team of Steve Skaith, Steve Jeffries and Mary Carewe is cellist Anna Carewe.

Since 1985, the band has released 11 albums; songs from all these records will be reinterpreted in acoustic arrangements. The interplay between male and female vocals - a hallmark of the band since the beginning - shines particularly brightly in this line-up.
