Dave Eggers presents his new novel "Contrapposto" (KiWi), the story of Cricket and Olympia - two friends whose bond survives every high and low, held together by art across a lifetime. The novel moves through art schools, the global art market, wars, triumphs and losses, and is at the same time a witty declaration of love for friendship.

Livia Gerster (F.A.Z.) hosts the evening. Actress Nora Solcher reads from the German translation by Andrea O'Brien.
