Theater NADI presents: "Dare so kare" (12+) - PREMIERE
T-Werk Potsdam, Germany
Japanese ghost stories
A whisper in the darkness, creaking floorboards in an empty house, somewhere a soft weeping - who calls from the shadows? With "Dare so kare", Theater NADI presents a piece that leads audiences into the world of Japanese ghost stories. Based on the collection by writer Lafcadio Hearn, the ensemble brings apparitions, playful spirits and lost souls to the stage, reflecting human longings and memories.
Theater NADI combines poetic gestures and ritual masks with dance elements in its work. The ensemble was founded in 2004 by pantomime artist and actor Steffen Findeisen and Japanese actress Noriko Dahlinger (née Seki). For "Dare so kare", Theater NADI collaborates for the first time with Lina Sophie Rothaug and Andrew Connolly-Gilchrist.
