Spinning Without Losing It - Ongoing Pottery Wheel Course with 4 Morning Sessions

Pottery on the wheel for beginners and those with some experience.

The course offers individual guidance and covers the core techniques of wheel throwing: centring the clay, opening, setting the base and pulling up the walls of a vessel, trimming and attaching handles, and preparing the clay body. No prior knowledge is needed. At the end of the course, everyone takes home their first self-thrown pieces - muesli bowls, coffee mugs and whatever else comes out of the session.

Painting and glazing take place in the Open Workshop at no extra cost. The skills gained there can be used to keep working in the workshop even after the course ends.

This course runs as an ongoing series of 4 morning sessions - alternatively also available as a weekend course with 5 sessions (Saturday and Sunday, 10:00-17:00 each day).
