KIEBICH and DUTZ // Musical Theatre for Children from 8 Years - KinderKulturMonat

Schlossplatztheater participates in KinderKulturMonat: children can attend this performance free of charge, adult companions pay 8.00 €.

Kiebich and Dutz is a poetic musical theatre based on F. K. Waechter with live music by Jonathan Boudevin, for children from 8 years old. Kiebich lives in a box where pillows, porridge and a comic explain the world to him - safely, comfortably, without having to enter it himself. Eventually this is no longer enough, and he dreams up a friend: Dutz. Dutz is cautious, full of doubt and loves what is familiar. Together they learn what courage means - to fly, to fight, to lose themselves and find each other again. When things become serious, Dutz stays behind. And Kiebich goes out alone.

Premiere was on 2 May 2026.
