Hansel and Gretel - Fairy-Tale Theatre - Open Air (Schloss Hubertus)

Hansel and Gretel get lost in the forest and end up at the witch's house - she knows exactly how to lure children in: with sweets. But Gretel refuses to give up and rescues her brother just in time.

In this interactive fairy-tale show, one experienced actor takes on all the roles and brings the story to life. Children are not passive spectators: they can call out to the performer on stage, suggest their own ideas, and join in at many points throughout the show. The actor picks up these cues on the spot and weaves them into the story.

The production is directed by Johannes Galli, with music composed especially for it by Johannes Galli and Michael Summ. Performed by Ronald Gräfe. A CD featuring all the fairy-tale songs from the show - including backing tracks and lyrics - is available at the theatre.
