Blue Deal - Blues Rock from the Black Forest

Blue Deal from the Black Forest played the JazzClub back in 2024 and are now returning to Bielefeld with their third studio album, "Make A Change" (2025).

The band has built a remarkable track record: their debut "Holy Ground" (2022) drew excellent reviews from national and international trade press, they won the German Blues Challenge in 2023, and in January 2024 they reached the semi-finals of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, USA. The second studio album "Can't Kill Me Twice" came out in May 2024 on the blues label Dixiefrog and was equally well received. "Make A Change" earned them the German Blues Award for Best Album 2024. Blues Matters! (No. 129, Dec/Jan 2023) described the band as delivering "pulsating grooves, strong guitar parts and an extremely versatile, raw voice" in "well-written songs from a creative, up-and-coming band."

Their repertoire spans from roots blues to straight-up rock - and everything in between. The songs tell stories from real life and take a critical stance on current issues. Five tours of Scotland prove that blues-rock made in Germany travels well.
