Description was written before the event

Wildes Holz performs in Görlitz on Friday, 4 September 2026 at 19:30 at Kulturforum Synagoge Görlitz. The trio-recorder, guitar, and double bass-presents "Block Party!", a musical journey through four centuries of entertainment music, filled with humor and virtuosic improvisation. This is one of nine German dates for the ensemble in autumn. The synagogue, built in 1911 in late historicist style, is among the rare German synagogues that survived the November 1938 pogroms in relatively good condition. Today it serves as an important cultural center. Admission: 19 €.

About the venue: Kulturforum Synagoge Görlitz

The Synagoge Görlitz is a late-historicist synagogue built in 1911, one of the few in Germany to survive the November 1938 pogroms largely intact. After decades of neglect following World War II, the building has been gradually restored and now serves as a cultural forum hosting concerts, exhibitions, and public events. Its ornate interior with original decorative elements makes it a striking backdrop for cultural programming.
