Sommer Special mit Steinbach

Steinbach is a small village in the wine region of Baden-Baden, over 750 years old and the birthplace of Master Erwin, the legendary architect of Strasbourg Cathedral. But Steinbach is also home to the band "STEINBACH", which wants to delight its fans with a mix of country, blues and rock.

The band STEINBACH came together in autumn 2021 when vocalist and guitarist VOLKER DREWS, a music lover and seasoned blues and country fan, and guitarist THOMAS HEINE met through an ad in the Blues Club Baden-Baden - "Musician looking for band". Since both musicians came from Steinbach, the band name was obvious. In spring 2022, former RADIO HATS drummer Jörg Lange joined them. As a trio, STEINBACH played as part of the "Eucor MobiLab Roadshow 2023" in collaboration with universities on the Upper Rhine - in Freiburg, Basel, Kehl, Strasbourg, Karlsruhe and Mulhouse.

At the beginning of 2024, the band was completed by former OOS BROTHERS bassist Martin Schneider from Baden-Baden. Performances followed, including at "Ochsen" (Sinzheim), at the "Medieval Wine Days" in Steinbach and at "Epicur Forum" at Université De Haut-Alsace in Mulhouse. In early 2025, there was a change - new guitarist Siegfried Klaschka, who like bassist Martin Schneider previously played for many years in the band "Oos Brothers".

The band has developed its own sound and repertoire, which features favorite songs of the band members from Tom Petty, Eagles, Neil Young, Bonnie Raitt, Marshall Tucker Band, Little Feat, Bob Seeger, Rolling Stones, The Who, Bessie Smith, Bob Dylan, CCR, Free, Thin Lizzy and Gary Moore to Jimi Hendrix. STEINBACH relies on its own sound and original songs.
